Medicinal Touch for Families, Babies, & Adults
Perinatal & Pediatric Neurosomatic Therapy
Create a calm foundation for healthy growth,
bonding, and lifelong wellness.
By focusing on correcting structural imbalances in the body,
we support parents and children by treating
any underlying, soft-tissue causes of pain.
When families feel pain-free, they can become attuned and present for those meaningful moments of life, both big and small.
Helping mothers with pain while strengthening their connection with their body and their baby.
Through a unique blend of Neurosomatic Therapy, relational touch, and a foundation in Hanna and pre- & perinatal somatics, I offer care that honors your experience, your body, and the story your tension tells.
With over 12 years of experience helping people of all shapes, colors, and sizes out of pain. I have discovered that the right combination of practical assessments, precise touch, and corrective exercise not only helps people feel better, but also helps them LIVE BETTER LIVES.
This work is about so much more than your mechanics. I want to help you get to the heart of the matter so that you can feel resourced, authentically present, and alive. It’s not always the easy path, but if you’re here for it, then I am here for you.
Experience a personalized therapeutic journey designed to foster nervous system regulation, deeper bonding, and physical stability for both you and your developing child
Continuity of Care Approach
A nurturing, physiologically-informed foundation of health
supporting you and your family throughout every stage of development
Mother-Centric
Family Wellness + Beyond
Neurosomatic Therapy (NST)
Proprioception & Relief from Pain
True relief begins when you clearly understand why your pain is there in the first place.
Rather than scratching at the surface, NST is a comprehensive framework that helps you get right to the heart of the matter in just a handful of sessions.
NST is a cutting-edge form of soft-tissue therapy that focuses on identifying and treating the underlying biomechanical & soft tissue imbalances in the body that that cause chronic pain.
Pediatric Neurosomatic Therapy (PNST)
Reduce Tension-Heal Imbalances
Gentle care for infants, children, and teens - helping them grow, learn, and thrive.
Children's bodies grow rapidly, and even small imbalances can affect focus, coordination, sleep, feeding/latch, reflux, and emotions.
PNST is a form of gentle bodywork that focuses on restoring communication between baby’s nervous system and muscles by releasing fascial restrictions in the body’s various soft tissues, brain & spinal cord.
When the body and all of its systems are allowed to perform at their best; this naturally eliminates pain and stress, bolsters resistance to disease, and enhances health and well-being.
This approach helps with integrating their own experience of the birth process, torticollis, tongue tie, plagiocephaly, issues with bonding, NICCU stays, and much more.
Somatic Bodywork
Interoception
Healing often comes through feeling, sensing, and reconnecting with the body’s signals, and developing a felt-sense of trust.
Somatics is the practice of listening to and working with the body through sensations. It honors how the parallels between how we feel, what we think, and how we process our experiences, including trauma, are expressed through our tissues and nervous system.
The Village Approach
Supportive Ecosystem
A mother-centric, village-based model of care designed to support not just the individual, but the entire family.
When each family member is supported, we create a thriving family ecosystem.
Stepping into parenthood is met with profound physical, mental, emotional, existential, and relational changes. Parents are tasked to slow down while the world continues to spin at its usual pace.
Through relational touch, partners are able to reconnect with their own body, nervous system, and internal state while expanding their skills in both verbal and body-centric communication.

Cofounder of WITHINKIN
Roxanne Jafari
Hi. I am Roxanne.
I am a Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, a Pediatric Neurosomatic Specialist, and co-founder of WithinKin, a mother-centric family health collective.
Years ago, on the road to understanding my own chronic pain, I fell in love with the science and art of touch. Over the past 12 years, I learned to use it as medicine.
After working for over a decade with people and children in pain, and having children of my own, I couldn’t help but feel the gap in comprehensive, multifaceted care for families.
I am very passionate about supporting parents and children from a physical, emotional, and spiritual perspective. We are so much more than our mechanics, and the care we receive should reflect that.
My mission is to guide parents through remembering how to listen to their own deep body wisdom, and to help them get to the root of their pain so that they are free to feel playful again.
